Contrary to somewhat popular belief manifested by some people who call themselves friends and family, I am not a porcelain doll that will break at the slightest blow. I’ve been messed around with, sheltered, lied to and deceived enough.

So when I say be honest with me about how you feel, good and bad (and in this case I’m ranting about the bad), I’D REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF YOU DO. Whether I’m depressed or not isn’t an excuse. What’s the point of only partially telling me how you feel?

Of all people, I need you to provide something real and I thought you knew that because I’ve told you before.

Again, too many thoughts for me to handle. Thoughts that are vague and leave me hung in painful place.

How do you deal with something as indelible as your sexuality when the person you love doesn't love you for it?

I wish no implosion on any person. Nikki and I implode with disasterous effects. Our boys suffer the brunt and for that, I wish I could somehow find a way of expressing how I feel without taking it out on myself so harshly.

My poem is no more perfect than I am.

I'm a horrible person sometimes. I really can't stand the fact that I know I'm losing my temper, but I'm not totally sure why. I'm not totally sure whether it's justified.

I'm like a phoenix.

I soar beautifully for a while, then suddenly I EXPLODE. I burst into flames! I roar with the heat. Then I fade out. I simmer down to a flicker. Then all that it left, is a pile of ash. Solitary. Quiet. Peaceful.

Slowly...

Slowly... I rise. I rise. I am born again from my weakness and I truly become beautiful once more. Everything goes back to being the lovely way it was. As if nothing ever happened. Until...

I wish I could break out of this cycle. I just want to be happy. I've tried so hard to just let it go. To detatch myself. To no longer put so much energy into showing how I care. Be it love, work, friendship. It doesn't work that way. I am who I am.

Righto. Last night Blogger wouldn't change my font from black to white which was highly annoying.

Bitch and I had dinz last night then I got my bracelet tightened, the lovely bloke wrestled with the pliers and fixed it for me.

Steering clear of the shops proved futile while I waited for Bitch to get to the city. Tanya (who looks gorgeous with her new 'do) insisted I get this cream jumper with a sequinned Pink Panther. The butch instore looked perturbed as I popped in a total of three times that evening - alone, and with Tanya and Kelly separately.

Speaking of butches, I swear we've missed a coming out convention - they are EVERYWHERE! In pairs, trios, groups, everywhere! Not that I'm complaining. Lol.

I have bugger all to do at work these days except surf the net and email.

An anchor for Worldwide exchange in Europe for CNBC. I couldn't find a picture with him wearing his glasses, but I thought this one would do.

He's a little chubby, but he looks so... Innocent. And intelligent. And charming.

He's got a serious intense kinda look that makes you want to just pull a funny face to see if he'll crack! He has this charming side smile that I ADORE. A boyish charm, almost. *sigh*

Those are my Top Two at the moment. Ross temporarily pushed Hugh Grant from the picture, but not for long. So I welcome Ross and Jack (I refuse to call him Depp because it's not Depp I love, it's Jack) to my Top Men of the Month.

Nikki and I should start that. We'll rank the Top Ten Men at the end of the month and post them up for you. We'll even try and dedicate a page to it! (If we can work out how!!)

I did ma nails hot pink (: Okay except in this pic they're more like red. Ohwell (: (: (: No, I'm not high on acetone. Although it has happened before and it got quite amusing.

Today I was at the Hilton Arcade about to return some stuff to Balenciaga when these two Japanese tourist ladies jumped (and I'm not exaggerating) in front me and blinked in amazement at the two massive Balenciaga bags I was holding and went "Oohh...Balenciaga...You can show us where?" So like the kind soul I was I told them to follow me and the bloke in the store chuckled as he saw two of them trailing me in.

On another entirely different note, why is it that people can't dress properly here? I saw a lady on the train today who was wearing fake Gucci print shoes (if that's bad enough, it wasn't even the fake Gucci label, it was some random acronym) in khaki-ish brown, dark blue jeans with a black-grey-white polka dotted belt, a while top with grey scribblings, a cream (or more like expired mayo) tote with grey prints, FAKE looking grey contacts....and...wait for it - a NEON ORANGE bra under her top. Tacky doesn't even begin it. I would have snapped a photo to illustrate how painful it was, but I would probably have gotten my face smashed in.

That's all the randomosity I have for you today.

Ooh, and Haribo gummies are the shit.

Oooh and season 3 of the OC returns tonight. That makes up for Desperate Housewives ending in three weeks. *sniff

Cadbury fights for colour rights.

Apparently, Cadbury had patented their rich, luscious purple some years back. So when they discovered that Darryl Lee (they make yummy licorice) was using the same shade, they went off their rocker and have tried to start up a law suit.

In a study done recently, a sample set were asked what company they thought of when they were shown a specific shade of green (obviously this wasn't done in Singapore otherwise the result would have been something like: Starhub lorrrr...) and the majority said 'BP' (British Petroleum). However when they did the same test to the same sample set, this time with the Cadbury's purple, hardly any of them associated the colour with the company.

After talking this through with Sri after his hit on this issue, we thought about all the brand and market recognition and whether it really is as important as everyone's making it out to be.

If I tell you to name a company that you associate with white, I'm sure most of you -like all of those that I asked at work today- would say Mac/Apple/iPod (despite the diverse range of colours now available for the iPod mini and nano).

Funny eh? Well, not really when you think about it. Just goes to show the power of marketing and actually how much it does affect us on a day to day basis.

On a totally shallow note, I started wondering what colour I would patent. I want a colour to call my own. Looking back at yesterday's post, I realised that Aqua would probably be the best shade for me. It's bright and exuberant but not too over the top (plus it'll match my skin tone no matter how it tans/fades). I don't think I'd have any of the shades that were shown, but I know I'd want one that really rich. The aqua equivalent of the Cadbury's purple? Yea, that's about right.

Sentimental Value.

Upon departure, it's fairly common to give the one left behind a thing of sentimental value. Something the lonesome one can hold onto with hope that their beloved will return to claim the item.
